Consequently, the same explosion-proof standards and coal safety certifications applicable underground are required for these fans.
In contrast, fans used in flotation processes and mine ventilation serve different purposes. Flotation requires pressurized air, typically between 0.6-0.8MPa, supplied by compressors. These compressors provide high-pressure air, and thus, the fans involved in this process do not necessitate explosion-proof features.
