1. The BA8060 series explosion-proof pushbutton (hereinafter referred to as the explosion-proof pushbutton) is an explosion-proof component that cannot be used independently.

2. It must be used in conjunction with an enhanced safety enclosure and an enhanced safety operating head for hazardous locations in Class II, Groups A, B, and C explosive gas atmospheres (T1 to T6 temperature classes), Zones 1 and 2, as well as Class III explosive dust atmospheres (Zones 21 and 22).

3. Designed to control starters, relays, and other electrical circuits in AC circuits with a frequency of 50Hz and voltage of 380V (or DC 220V).

Product Features

1. The explosion-proof pushbutton adopts a composite explosion-proof structure (combining explosion-proof and enhanced safety types), featuring a flat rectangular design.

2. The housing consists of three components: an explosion-proof shell made of reinforced flame-retardant nylon PA66 and polycarbonate PC through one-piece injection molding (eliminating traditional bonding surfaces), a stainless steel explosion-proof pushbutton stem, and enhanced safety-type terminals on both sides with a matching mounting bracket (also serving as electrical protection).

3. Internal pushbutton mechanisms are available in normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) configurations.

4. Contact elements reside within the explosion-proof chamber of the housing, with button actuation driven by the control rod.

5. The outer bracket is directionally adjustable, enabling assembly into either vertical or horizontal configurations.

6. The upper structure can be fitted with an enhanced safety type operating handle, while the lower structure is mounted inside the enclosure via a C35 rail.

7. The explosion-proof pushbutton’s metal components are made of stainless steel, paired with a plastic housing to meet the demands of highly corrosive environments.
