Kerosene, at room temperature, is a liquid that appears colorless or pale yellow with a faint odor. It is highly volatile and flammable, forming explosive gases when mixed with air.
The explosive limit of kerosene ranges between 2% and 3%. Its vapors can create an explosive mixture with air, and upon exposure to an open flame or intense heat, it can ignite and explode. Under high temperatures, the pressure inside containers can increase, posing risks of rupture and explosion.
