Explosion-proofing does not imply that internal components are undamaged, but rather it limits the energy released from any damage to these components to prevent igniting gases in explosive environments.
Looking at T6, it is noted for its “maximum surface temperature,” which is the highest temperature the device can achieve under any conditions. Therefore, lower temperatures signify greater safety, while higher temperatures indicate increased risk. Based on this understanding, T6 is considered superior to T1.
