Explosion-Proof Lights Are Divided into Several Levels

Explosion-proof lighting is categorized into three classifications: IIA, IIB, and IIC.

Class IIA

Suitable for places with gasoline-like substances, such as gas stations. The representative gas for this category is propane.

Class IIB

Used in general factories where hazardous gases are present. Ethylene is the representative gas for this classification.

Class IIC

Designed for factories exposed to hydrogen, acetylene, or carbon disulfide.
