Grounding of Explosion-Proof Electrical Equipment

1. Within regions prone to explosions, it is imperative that the enclosures of electrical equipment are securely connected to the grounding system.

2. When selecting grounding wires for electrical equipment, multi-strand soft copper wires, with a cross-sectional area of at least 4 square millimeters, are recommended.

3. In explosive hazard areas, the principal grounding conductors should connect to the grounding body from various directions, ensuring a minimum of two distinct connections.

Caution: The use of pipelines carrying flammable gases or liquids as grounding conductors is strictly forbidden.
