There is no hierarchy in explosion-proof ratings for dust and gas, as they are governed by different national standards. Dust explosion-proof certification follows the standard GB12476, while gas explosion-proof certification adheres to GB3836.
The differing standards mean the tests conducted during the certification process vary. Therefore, these two types of explosion-proof equipment are not interchangeable and cannot replace each other.
